There’s a high-octane programme of entertainment at Bride: The Wedding Show at Westpoint Arena on March 25-26.

The show features more than 130 local exhibitors, including Exmouth-based cake-maker Holly’s Cakery, Exmouth wedding venue Ocean and Budleigh Salterton-based hair and make-up artist Sarah Case.

Musical acts include the Blue Lion Band, offering a mix of songs, individually tailored to meet the tastes of their audience.

There’s also a spectacular choreographed catwalk show aimed at all members of the wedding party. Taking place at 11.30am, 1.15pm and 3pm, it features designs from local boutiques and suppliers, including Te Amo Brides, Prudence Gowns, The Bridal Emporium, Jane’s, Moss Bros and Youngs Hire.

Holly Hazell, who owns Exmouth-based Holly’s Cakery, is a first-time exhibitor. “It’s one of the biggest wedding events in the South West, and I’ve heard good things about it. We will be offering free cake samples and we’ll have an offer included with our flyer for brides who come to see us.”

Bride: The Wedding Show at Westpoint Arena offers all the elements to plan your big day, including dresses, cakes, flowers, stationery, venues and photography. Tickets are £5 each or £15 for four in advance at theweddingshow.co.uk/buy-tickets. Tickets on the day are £7.50 each.
