Exmouth Folk Club has a special concert coming up at the Manor Hotel on The Beacon, at 8pm, on Tuesday, January 31.
“Homegrown” – say the organisers – is ‘a showcase for musicians and singers, many of whom have cut their teeth and become established performers in the friendly vibe of the Folk Club, before moving on to play at venues throughout the West Country’.
The free show features Dave Ward (the ‘Voice of the people’), singer-songwriter Guy Somerfield, acoustic duo Reefs of Moonshine, David Hoad (‘Mr Entertainment’), folk-rock duo 200 Hurts and Austin Hill ‘n’ Bayes (‘Guthrie to Cohen’).
The club’s regular monthly sessions are held on the third Tuesday of the month and are open to all.
