Withycombe go in search of a third successive Tribute Devon One success when they visit Dartmouth on the final Saturday of the month.
Two games into the new term, the Raleigh Park men sit top of the table, reaching the summit with last Saturday's 24-8 home win over Old Technicians.
Looking back on that win, Withy head coach Sam Williams said: "Whilst the performance against Old Technicians was not of the most fluent nature it did show we have great resilience in the ranks to maintain composure with the game in the balance for long periods.
"Once again the bench added real energy to the performance, with Eugene Badenhorst and Luke Davis making significant impacts.
"From my perspective, the most pleasing aspect was the clarity of thought and return to the processes that we have been working in order to score in the dying seconds to gain the fourth try bonus point."
He continued: "We have trained well again this midweek and I am looking forward to seeing them in action again on Saturday."
The meeting with Dartmouth is the first for a number of seasons for Withy. The hosts have also played two games so far this season; defeating Totnes 26-7 in their opening game and then drawing 19-19 last Saturday at Buckfastleigh.
Withy's Adam Curtis says: "As is going to be the case in most of the matches this season, it s going to be very much the case that the opposition are something of an unknown quantity. No doubt we will need to be fully prepared for a tough encounter - it certainly ought to be a great game of rugby."
The game at Dartmouth kicks off at 3pm and, for Withy followers making their own way to South Devon, the game is taking place at Dartmouth Leisure Centre (TQ6 0JL for those supporters who like to rely on a Satnav).
