There were just seven minutes on the clock when Ian Wathes crossed the Cully whitewash.

The second try was the first of what would be a hat-trick of tries for Erin Inglis and a third try arrived in the first quarter, scored by Ethan Langson Justice. With half-time approaching it was the turn of returning traveller Tom Steer to cross the try line and when the whistle blew, Nomads trooped off with a 22-5 lead. After the break, conditions did not get any easier, but this did not affect the Nomads and, with Roger Holman keeping a close eye on proceedings, Inglis crossed for his second try before Ned Mills also scored – both early second-half tries were converted by Steer. With 15 minutes remaining, Tom Steer bagged his second try, bringing his personal points tally in the contest to 16. Inglis completed his hat-trick and his third try was converted by Rich Cadywould. The final score of the game was a try from Matt Seager.
