Lympstone Amateur Boxing Club’s junior boxers put on a perfect display as all five of their bouts were won by unanimous decision, writes Ben Wiltshire.

Jack Silk, Louis Silk, Ed James, Mike James and Max Smith all dominated in their bouts and came through victorious in front of a sold-out crowd at the Exmouth Pavillion.

All boxers were particularly impressive with the way they controlled the tempo of their bouts and their discipline and technique proved to be too much for their opponents.

Moving up to the Seniors, Jordan Coates and Shannon Willey showed great heart and courage in their bouts, but they fell just short to lose out on points.

In the Skills category, Lympstone’s up and coming prospects Finley Simpson, Alfie Cunningham and Blaine Swallow all put on majestic performances to show what a fantastic future the club has.
