Uplyme Pre-school children entertained their family and friends, as well as pupils from Mrs Ethelstons Primary School, at their Nativity play on Friday morning.

The youngsters told the story of The Star that Couldn’t Shine, but with the help of baby Jesus she found her sparkle again and shone brightly so the Shepherds and Kings were able to find the baby in the stable.

The star of the show was Lauren who acted out her part beautifully.

The Nativity brought to an end the pre-school’s Christmas activities. Earlier the children had made decorations, posted Christmas cards, and enjoyed a Christmas party with an entertainer. The Nativity play was the finale to their season of Christmas fun.
