Archant

Eddie Hall, a strongman who almost died when claiming the World Record for dead-lifting 500kg, took a break from bench pressing and squatting to share his wisdom with Exmouth gym-goers.

The World’s Strongest Man entrant, nicknamed The Beast, came third in this year’s global competition.

Eddie visited Bodywise Gym, based on The Parade, Exmouth, to hold a seminar, share weight-lifting techniques and answer questions in front of an audience.

The athlete has also won on numerous occasions the UK’s and England’s Strongest Man titles.
