There are still some places available for the trip to Thury-Harcourt in June - but you need to book soon
Seaton and District Twinning Association is preparing for its bi-annual visit to its partner town of Thury-Harcourt in Normandy.
The trip takes place from Friday, June 15, to Monday, June 18. Organisers say there are a few places on the coach available if anybody fancies a weekend in France.
Secretary Glyn Roberts said: “We are hosted with a local family and there will be a day out with our French counterparts, a day with the host family and a group dinner during the weekend.
“The ability to speak French is not a given. We try to match visitors with hosts who have some language in common.”
The trip costs £80 per person to include ferries and coach fares. Travellers must be members of the society and there is a joining fee. Travel insurance is mandatory but can be arranged for as little as £9 per person.
Anybody interested in going should contact Mr Roberts soon as possible on 07800 903866.
