A major holiday village, hotel and spa development site at Seaton is up for sale with a £2.5 to £3million price tag.

Seaton Heights has been hailed as ‘arguably the single most important anticipated and iconic development opportunity of its kind in the South West’. Extending over 5.13 acres at Harepath Hill, it is among the West Country lots listed for auction this month (March) by Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers.

The site has planning consent for 38 semi-detached ‘deck homes’, a 12-bedroom hotel and associated facilities, including a spa.

Auctioneer Scott Gray said: “This is one of the most sought-after locations in the country. It enjoys a lofty position with stunning views over Lyme Bay and the Jurassic Coast world heritage site.

“Leisure tourism operators may be keen to follow the current consent while there is also the opportunity to increase the number of holiday homes and hotel rooms subject to the necessary permissions.”

The lot is being jointly auctioned with JLL of Exeter.
