New owners for Woodbury Park Hotel, Golf and Country Club

Woodbury Park Hotel, Golf and Country Club has new owners, it was revealed last night.
The Club Company has announced the acquisition of Woodbury Park, which is situated just outside Exeter in 350 acres of beautiful Devon countryside.
Woodbury Park Hotel, Golf and Country Club is a 56-bedroom luxury hotel with a stunning 18 hole championship golf course and a beautifulnine- hole course as well.
The site has state-of-the-art leisure facilities, including gym, studio, tennis courts and spa treatments.
Over the last 12 months, The Club Company has made significant investments within the group:
In December 2015, the company acquired Wharton Park Golf and Country Club in Worcestershire.
In March of this year, a £2million investment was completed at Castle Royle in Berkshire, including two new children’s pools, adult wet spa, adult-only bar and numerous improvements to the golf course.
In August 2016, The Warwickshire’s Health Club saw a £1million investment, including new equipment throughout the gym, a revamp for the fitness studios, and a complete refurbishment of both the family and adult-only bar areas.
This was followed, in September 2016, by the opening of the new 56-bedroom luxury hotel at The Warwickshire, an investment of £4.5million, which is already proving to be popular with business travellers, families and golf societies.
With the acquisition of Woodbury Park, The Club Company now has 12 clubs in its portfolio, all located around the UK.
