Motorist fined after admitting driving carelessly near Honiton

A man has been fined after admitting he drove a vehicle without due care and attention near Honiton.
Gareth Morrell, of Westland Avenue, West Cross, Swansea, appeared at Exeter Magistrates’ Court on May 23, where he pleaded guilty to the charge and two counts of driving with worn tyres.
All three charges relate to November 21 last year, when Morrell was driving a Ford Focus on the A30 at Marsh and Yarcombe.
The 24-year-old was fined £386 by magistrates and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £38 victim surcharge.
His licence was also endorsed with six points.
