Membury history display at Axminster Heritage Centre

Exhibiiton covering all aspects of the Parish’s past will run until May 4
Axminster Heritage Centre, in Silver Street, is currently featuring a display by the Membury History Society which covers the Parish’s rich past from fossils to the modern day.
The exhibition covers Neolithic man, Iron Age, Romans, Anglo Saxons, Doomsday, Revolutions, Village Life and WW2.
The story of the Parish is told with artefacts, coins, photographs and short articles and is a microcosm of British history. The display will run until May 4.
