A school reunion for former Exmouth Community College students raised funds for charity in honour of one of the pupils’ tutors.
When the past students who attended ECC from 1986-1991 learned their former teacher, Mr Potter, was living with Parkinson’s disease, they donated £195 from ticket sales to Parkinson’s UK.
The reunion, held at the Royal Beacon Hotel, Exmouth, was organised by James Young, Maria Graham, Sarah Graham and Nathan Lapwood.
James said: “We chose Parkinson’s UK as one of our old teachers, Mr Potter, has the condition and we heard about this through an article on Facebook where his son, Andrew Potter, raises money for the charity.”
