High speed accident on the A3052 near Branscombe turning claims a second victim
A second man has died following a high speed collision on the A3052 between Seaton and Sidmouth last week.
Police say the latest victim is a 54-year-old Colyton resident.
The accident happened at around 6.15pm on Friday (January 20).
A 77-year-old man from Yorkshire, driving a blue Honda Jazz died after being in collision with a red Renault Clio close to the Three Horseshoes junction, near Branscombe.
The driver of the Clio, was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth with serious chest and leg injuries, but died in the early hours of yesterday (Wednesday, January 25).
Police collision investigators attended the scene and carried out a forensic investigation. The road was closed for approximately three and a half hours.
