Kilmington Players keep audiences chuckling with their panto version of Treasure Island

A tale of “buccaneers and buried gold” produced a barrel full of laughs for audiences at Kilmington last week.

The village players’ production of Treasurer Island – by Limelight Scripts - was directed and produced by Louise Quincey and featured a large cast – 34 in all – with a big contingent of youngsters.

The musical director was Leah Stonex and the principal players were Jasmine Pearce, David Lavender, Karen Hussey, Tim Leat, Lily Collier, Bev Reed, Judy Micklethwait, Kieran Marshall, Louise Quincey, John Whiteley, Jasmine Hussey, Katherine McCollum, Finin Quincey, Charlie Cilia Herbert, Jean Falconer, Gemma Hodder, Catherine Tattershall and Alan Rowley.

In the chorus were Yvonne Cilia, Anna Cope, Jean Falconer, Alan Rowley, Catherine Tattershall and Rachael Tattershall.

Children taking part were Mary Chilcott, Charlie Dare, Emily Dare, Gemma Hodder, Dan Joyce, Grace Lambert, Jack Mear, Pip Micklethwait, Thomas Miller, Casey Phillips, Ewan Phillips, Lyndon Smith, Molly Smith.
