Archant

People booked to see The Lock In at the now-closed Brewhouse Theatre can still enjoy it in Ilfracombe tomorrow (Saturday) night instead.

PEOPLE who had tickets to see music and dance show The Lock In at the Brewhouse Theatre in Taunton can still use them for Saturday’s show at The Landmark in Ilfracombe following the closure of the Taunton playhouse.

North Devon Theatres has agreed to honour the tickets for the show tomorrow, after the closure of the Brewhouse was announced on Wednesday.

The curtain goes up at 8pm and people are asked to bring their original Taunton tickets with them.

The Lock In is an energetic fusion of folk music and traditional English dancing with hip hop and street dance to create an innovative show.

It is the brainchild of folk group The Demon Barbers, whose accompanying instruments follow the action as they take English folk music on a new journey with friends hip hop, house, funk and ska.

Expect dancing skill, speed and athleticism as old and new dance collide and then blend. For information or tickets, 01271 324242 or visit www.northdevontheatres.org.uk.
