Roots musician Sid Griffin – a founding member of 1980s’ Americana act The Long Ryders and 1990s’ British bluegrass band The Coal Porters – is playing a solo show at The Bridge Inn, in Topsham, on Thursday, June 9.

For its 12th season (July 8-16), Budleigh Music Festival is offering a rich and vibrant evening programme, which breaks some new ground, while the popular free lunchtime series of concerts will this year feature our youngest-ever recitalist, cellist Isabella Farleigh, aged 11.

Rough Music

A ceilidh evening with music, dancing and song from local Wren Music groups, Rough Music and the East Devon Folk Choir takes place at The Institute, Ottery St Mary, next Friday, May 20, from 7.30pm to 10.30pm.
