This Sunday (August 14) local swing jazz band Just Misbehavin’ will be appearing at The Point Bar & Grill on Exmouth Marina.

The final Ham Marquee concert of Sidmouth FolkWeek 2016 was a noteworthy and memorable show. Offering a quality blend of traditional folk with a modern twist, it presented an intriguing combination of youth and experience.

There was a definite sense of occasion at this afternoon show at the Ham Marquee on FolkWeek 2016’s final day (Friday, August 5).

For those with a taste for the more traditional side of folk, the lunchtime sessions at The Volunteer during Sidmouth FolkWeek were a must. A rainy lunchtime on Monday, August 1 was a chance to have a pint and listen to a wide variety of unaccompanied traditional songs. The session gave an opportunity for singers of all abilities to share and learn new material.
