Gill and Bob Berry are the eagerly-awaited performers at this Saturday's Shammick Acoustic Concert in Combe Martin.

Well-versed performers Gill and Bob Berry will be in Combe Martin on Saturday night (January 26).

WILTSHIRE’S Bob and Gill Berry will be the first of the New Year’s headline artists at Combe Martin’s Shammick Acoustic on Saturday at the Pack O’ Cards pub in the village.

The duo have been ‘visiting performers’ at the venue’s Open Nights on a couple of occasions, and after the audience reaction to their last visit, organisers had no doubt they deserved a full concert booking.

With a huge range of material ranging from traditional songs in unaccompanied close harmony to instrumentally-backed contemporary songs, their musical bond is obvious.

Gill’s stunning voice is well complemented by Bob’s harmonies and sensitive accompaniments, as well as being a fine singer in his own right.

The concert, with support from local performers starts at 8 pm and tickets are £7 at the door, or £6 in advance from the Pack o’ Cards or Pets’ Pantry in Combe Martin. Alternatively visit www.shammickacoustic.org.uk.
