Win VIP family tickets to the Queen’s Theatre panto in Barnstaple - last chance to enter the caption competition.

IT is the final fling for our Robin Hood Caption Competition this week, with just one more lucky local family to reward with a VIP visit to the Queen’s Theatre pantomime.

Thank you to everyone who has already entered by sending their comical or clever caption suggestions for the pictures featured each week.

If you have not been lucky so far, there is still time to get your thinking cap on and enter one last time.

The picture sent to us by North Devon Theatres this week shows Maid Marian, played by Laura Main, peering around a suit of armour.

The prize is for a family of four to see the Robin Hood panto on Monday, December 17. It includes children’s goody bags, drinks vouchers for all, a programme signed by the cast and an invitation to the after-show party for drinks and nibbles with a chance to meet the cast.

Last week’s winner, Christine Westlake, suggested the caption ‘Open up quick, there’s an emu behind me – oh yes there is’ for the image of Little John having some big door problems (above).

To enter, email your suggestion, plus your name, address and telephone number to tony.gussin@archant.co.uk or post to: Caption Competition, North Devon Gazette, Unit 3, Old Station Road, Barnstaple, EX32 8PB. Closing date for entries is 10am on Tuesday, December 11.

Prizes are for the December 17 show only and not transferable. The editor’s decision is final. Usual terms and conditions apply.
