The Beehive will be hosting the return visit of The Birthday Girls after their outrageously funny show last year.

The Spirit of the Exe and the Exmouth Mussel Festival is coming up on Saturday, September 24, at the Exmouth Beach and Gardens, from noon-7pm.

Dr Jane Hawking Jones – whose first novel, Silent Music, is published on September 22 – is the focus of a Meet the Author talk at Kennaway House, Sidmouth, on Tuesday, September 20.

A one-day writers’ workshop is coming up soon in Sidmouth.
