Exmouth United Under-14s put in another commanding performance to defeat Sidmouth Raiders 11-2 and continue, in emphatic style, their winning start to the season.

United, playing with the confidence of a side that has done nothing but win this season so far, made a flying start and took and early lead through Jay Leballeur. Scorer then turned provider to set up Patryk Plachecki to make it 2-0.

The visitors hit back to halve the deficit and, in what was a closely contested first half, there were no further goals.

If the United start to the first half was ‘flying’, then the way they began the second period was even ‘sharper’ as they flew out of the traps, scoring a number of early goals to go on and dominate the remainder of the contest.

Leballeur scored a second half hat-trick to finish with four goals. Cayleb Field bagged a brace and there were single strikes from Finn Glanfield, Lewis Fulls, Seb Harrison and skipper Harry Bassett.

Overall, this was a most impressive attacking display from a team brimming with confidence.

United team: Lewis Fulls, Harry Bassett, Harry Kifli-Reynolds, Cayleb Field, Seb Harrison, Dylan Mogford, Bryn Stephens, Finn Glanfield, Jay Leballeur, Patryk Plachecki, Harry Bowley.
