The Cockles had no fewer than a dozen of their lady and girl players on Devon County duty.

The matches were played at a very muddy North Tawton where the Cockles played in Under-15 and Under-18 matches against Berkshire.

The Under-15s were 34-20 winners whilst the Under-18s were 24-10 victors.

There were also a trio of Cockles in action for the senior ladies side which shared the spoils with high flying Gloucester.

Taz Burns, Daisy O’loughlin and Charley Wright all played a part in the 10-10 draw.
