Budleigh CC Colts ready to start nets for coming season

Budleigh Salterton stage the first of this years Winter Net sessions for colts’ next month.

The opening session is on Sunday, February 3, from 12 noon until 3pm.

The first half of the session is for the Under-10 and Under-11 teams and the second half is for the older age groups.

This coming season the Ottermouth club are running the following teams (the coach follows the age group in brackets); Under 10s softball pairs (Jon James); Under 11s hardball pairs and league team (Barry Real together with and Dan Messom); Under 12s (Alex Richardson); Under 13s – (Karl Short); and Under 15s (Dave White together with Ray Dawson).

The club are also entering a team to play in the Under-14 KO Cup and will also enter the national ECB Under-15 competition.

Meanwhile Budleigh will be attempting to win the Under-12 KO Cup for the third year running!

With no Under-17 league available this summer that age group is catered for at Ottermouth by the Academy Team which plays in the community league and this summer that team is looked after by Lloyd Murrin and will be used to develop players into the senior players of the future.
