Brixington United 0, Heavitree Rockets 3

Under-14 Division 2 leaders Brixington United were beaten by second placed Heavitree, but will still be crowned champions if they bank six points from their remaining three games.

Rockets deserved their success, achieved with one in the first half and two after the break.

United coach Adam Miler said: “We never got out of one of very low gears which is disappointing. After a sluggish start we got back into it around the 20 minute mark and played our best football of the game, but we were then already one behind and the second goal killed us off.”

Left back Ryan Shaw and left midfield Ryan Tuttlet had fine games for Brixington.
