Axe Cliff ladies’ Par Cup joy for Jo Donmall

There was another good turnout by the Axe Cliff ladies last week, writes Dave Bruce. They were out in force to contest the Par Cup and it proved to be a close encounter throughout.

It was last year’s captain, Jo Donmall, who took the honours. Jo played beautifully to win with a score of plus one and second place went to our Devon Veterans’ captain Barbara Cummings, who finished with a level score.

Third was Pauline Willis, with her score being minus two.
