Pupils at an Exmouth school have been finding out more about recycling.

Marpool Primary School hosted a workshop with East Devon District Council, with children taking part in activities ahead of the council’s new collection scheme, which begins in the town this month.

Council recycling officer Lorna Christo said: “It was really for them to take the message home and help their parents with the new system.”

The new arrangements will see an increased range of items recycled, with grey wheeled-bin collections reduced to once every three weeks.
