Time is running out to enter Seaton Library’s photographic competition.

Organised by the Friends of Seaton Library (FOSL) the closing date for entries is Monday, September 3.

The theme of the contest is ‘Active East Devon’. Subjects could be sporting, leisure, animal, bird-life - whatever people care to choose.

Photos must be no larger than A4 size and mounted on thin card, but not framed.

A full list of rules is on the library noticeboard in Queen Street, Seaton, EX12 2NY and in various outlets around the town.

Entries can be sent by post or dropped in to Seaton Library. Entries by email are not accepted.

The photos submitted will be displayed in the library during September when the winners will be announced.

A spokeswoman for FOSL said: “Prizes will be awarded for all ages and entry is free - so come on, don’t miss out, get active, get snapping!”
