Police in Exmouth are appealing for witnesses after stolen car was found on fire in Littleham in the early hours of Monday morning.

Firefighters were called to a lane off Roseway shortly before 5am, where they found a blue Nissan ablaze.

Police said the car had been stolen from the trading estate in Dinan Way.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said the car was well alight and severely damaged.

Police would like to hear from anyone with information about the fire, or if someone was seen acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the incident. Call 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously 0800 555111, quoting log number 58.
