B Sharp will present their show ‘Out of the Box’ at The Hub

A Jools Holland-style evening of music will be presented by B Sharp in Lyme Regis on Saturday (December 2).

Out of the Box, will be presented at The Hub from 6.30pm to 10.30pm and everyone is welcome.

Featuring music from four of B Sharp’s weekly music making projects, Boombox, Hub Jams, Bridport Jams and LaunchPad, it promises an evening of exuberant, entertaining and eclectic fun.

As well as a whole host of musical talent, food, refreshments and licensed bar will be available.

Fran Williams, creative director of the Lyme-based music charity said: “Our young musicians have really stepped up to the challenge we gave them to create an installation/musical experience by ‘thinking outside the box’.

“They’ll be inviting the audience to join them on a musical journey and some dancing, so come prepared to get involved in some great and original music making.”

Tickets for Out of the Box are available on the door with donations accepted for concessions. There’s also no need to arrive on the dot of 6.30pm - everyone is invited to come at a time that suits them, including dropping in after the turning on of the Lyme Xmas Lights.

Out of the Box is just one part of a series of music events being put on by B Sharp which have included the Busking Festival and Big Mix in Lyme Regis and a large scale concert at Lighthouse, Poole.

The charity is passionate about offering developing young musicians a platform to showcase their talents and creating entertainment for the local region. For more information about B Sharp visit www.bsharp.org.uk
