Animal had at least four inches cut from its mane while in a field at Sea View Lane

Police are hunting the person responsible for cutting at least four inches off a horses’ mane at Uplyme.

The animal was in a field in Sea View Lane when it was attacked some time between 5pm on Monday (February 11) and 3pm yesterday.

Police Community Support Officer Amanda Wooster said they were keen to hear from anyone with any information about this incident.

They are asked to ring 101 quoting Log Number 710 of 12/02/13.
