Office building partly evacuated by fire crews after reports of a fire in the roof space.

TWO fire crews have been called out to reports of a fire at Queens House in Barnstaple this afternoon (Thurs).

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue service said the call came in at around 2.50pm.

The service had initially been alerted to a fire alarm in the building, but then received a call reporting a fire in the roof space.

The building was partially evacuated.

Crews are currently on scene investigating.
