Exmouth in Bloom has launched its 2012 ‘Friends Group’ campaign at Kings Garden Centre.

Membership of the group costs £5 per year for an individual and £10 for a business, group or organisation.

Members will receive a membership card and a regular newsletter throughout the year telling them about the bloom group’s projects.

Money raised through the scheme will help with the cost of summer bedding plants; replacing any shrubs killed off by winter weather and paying for plants in new areas that the group is hoping to adopt.

The Bloom committee said they would like to thank everyone who has joined the group over the past year and helped them to achieve an RHS Gold award, and that they could not have done it without the support of their friends and their many sponsors.

Anyone who wants to join the Friends Group should complete the application form, available from the Town Hall, Exmouth Library, the Tourist Information Centre in Travel World, A la Ronde, Aspects Framing in Rolle Street, Birds and Bees in Rolle Street, Cartridges-Direct in Dinan Way, Fountain Cafe, Kings Garden Centre, Greenfingers Garden Centre, Oliver’s Hairdressers in Exeter Road and the Palm Emporium in the Indoor Market.

The form is also available from www.exmouthinbloom.org.uk
