Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton Friends of FORCE raised £620 thanks to the generosity of public donations when volunteers held a supermarket bucket collection.
Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton Friends of FORCE thanked all who donated to a bucket collection at the Salterton Road Tesco Store at the end of last month.
The group said it was ‘delighted’ to raise £620 for the cause thanks to generous donations.
The organisers thanked all the volunteers for their support and the public for donating.
A spokesperson for Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton Friends of FORCE said: “Thank you for your support.
“FORCE needs £1.5million a year to continue its work in our communities, supporting families and their friends who have been affected by cancer, providing equipment which is used for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital and funding research through the Exeter University Medical School into various cancers.”
