Some of the country’s top black belts will be at the training session, raising money for Headlight

There is a chance to train with some of the country’s top martial arts practitioners – and help a worthwhile cause – at Seaton later this month.

Kenpo Dynamics is hosting a charity seminar – The Collective - on Saturday, September 22, starting at 10am at Seaton Martial Arts Centre in Scalwell Lane.

The event is being held in aid of Headlight - formerly known as the Project - which helps young people experiencing emotional problems.

Last year the service directly supported more than 100 young people and their parents through the delivery of 81 peer support sessions.

Black belt Amrik Singh, who runs Kenpo Dynamics, said: “Having lived in Seaton for over 26 years I have seen how support groups like this have helped many children and young adults in our area. We have an amazing community which cares about what happens to our town and its people.

“The money will go to help the charity continue its excellent work in our area.”

Tickets for the event are £29.
