County council candidates lists for Exmouth wards published

Lists of candidates standing for this year’s Devon County Council elections have been published.

This is the first election since the boundary review creating two new wards for the town – Exmouth ward, which will have two members, and Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton Coastal ward.

Colaton Raleigh and Otterton will be represented as part of the Otter Valley ward.

Conservative councillor Bernard Hughes, member for Exmouth Halsdon and Woodbury, is retiring while UKIP councillor for Exmouth, Brixington and Withycombe John Hone is not standing.

Voting will take place on Thursday, May 4.
