Firefighters respond to reports of people trapped in a vehicle.

Firefighters were called to reports of people trapped in a vehicle following a road traffic collision at Wilmington.

Two fire engines from Honiton responded to the incident on the A35, near Wilmington, which occurred this morning at 5.32am.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival it was found that no persons were trapped and crews made the vehicle safe.”
